Well, This is bit off topic from PC. But again it may be not, seeing as there are many novels in E-Books. I think most of the famous writers face a serious problem because of these e-books. As an example J.K.Rowling, the writer of famous Harry Potter book series hasn’t yet agreed to publish any e-book even-though many have requested her to do so. (Anyway not legally, because I’ve seen many illegal HP E-Books in Gnutella and other share networks. Actually, I saw HBP in one of these networks only after a day of the publication of the real book. )
I love reading novels but don’t have much time to read. So when there’s a interesting story I try to find a E-Books from somewhere and read it when ever I get a chance to look at it while doing other stuff with computer. So it’s a good stress reliever.(for me any way). I realy love Lord of the rings story(and movie) and Harry potter series(I hate the movie). Also I love Dan Brown’s stories. Specially Da vinci Code is bloody fantastic. Also Sherlock Holmes, Tarzen, Mark Twain’s stores, Jules Verne’s works are great.
There are some sites dedicated for young writers. Fanfiction.net is one of such sites which have become very popular. It gives room for fans to write their own stories and post them others to read. There are hundrend thousends of stories to read. It’s a good two way deal because Authers too get a chance to improve their writing by listening to the comments of their readers. There are some fanfiction writers that I felt are even better than the real writers. So if you are interested in reading some book check out.

At present, I believe there are only few good sinhala novels. All of those are understabble. They don’t include any difficult sinahala word. I am amazing you say “but I can’t reference to any of them in net”. You do not need surfing Internet.
