Who am I?
![]()
I’m 22 year old undergraduate who thinks there’s no tomorrow without IT and currently working as a PHP & Python developer at Vesess while working on my B.Sc. at University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I also worked as a freelancer at Rent a Coder for several years before entering to university and now I’m enjoying contributing my spare time for Open Source Software, Gnome and Drupal being my favourites.
My journey in IT starts about 10 years ago from school computer society. At the age of 12 I got some experience in Pascal programming and later I got into a completely new field at that time - 3D designs with Maya and 3DMax. After working in 3D world for few years I got tired of that and turned back into programming.
Web developing and Java got me interested and I put my attention on them. Then two best things happened in my life so far happened - getting invited into Vesess and getting selected into Google Summer of Code to work with Gnome. Getting into Vesess purified my goals in life and GSoC gave a good push to make a leap into the Open Source arena. So now most of my time is spent on working with Vesess and contributing to Open Source developments.
